Losing a child is a parent’s worst nightmare, but in 2013 when Heather Clark lost her seven-month-old baby son Lukas, when he died under the supervision of a babysitter. She took a decision to help mothers who will never face this type of pain. She donated Lucas’ organs to three other needed people.
A Four-year-old girl named Jordan who was suffering from congenital heart defect was saved by Lucas. Using a stethoscope at Jordan’s chest, Heather is able to hear Lucas’ heart beating again. Jordan also gifted Clark a Build-a-Bear containing a recording of Lucas’ heart.
